Press Release Summary: eCounties Charity Christmas Presentation to deserving children. Generous donations to childrens hospice.
Press Release Body: eCounties strive to be an ethical business and to this degree we try to have a social responsibility towards our community.
eCounties try to have a rolling programme of initiatives throughout the year where we can give something back to our local community.
For example we offer positions within our company to retrain individuals from County Training Shropshire and work experience placements to our local schools and open days for local businesses and schools.
Our initiative this Christmas was to support Hope House Morda (just outside Oswestry Shropshire.
Hope house children's hospices provide practical and emotional support to families facing the pain of losing their precious child.
A childhood terminal illness challenges every belief, emotion and dream , a parent may have for their special son or daughter.
eCounties talked to local businesses within Oswestry advising them that we are providing Hope House with a Christmas presentation this week. Members of our staff dressed as Father Christmas and helpers and delivered sacks of toys to the children currently residing at Hope House.
Although we approached people at short notice, over 30 local traders and businesses generously donated gifts towards our Christmas presentation eCounties donated all the ingredients for a traditional Christmas dinner. eCounties also have invited children and staff to Shrewsbury Town Football Club for a whole day of free hospitality in the exclusive Sovereign Club seating area and lounge at the ground. This will include free admission to the match, free drinks and lunch and a chance to meet the players and receive signed footballs in the players lounge.
We believe that a Charity such as Hope House Hospices (which offers its services and facilities free and relys on donations) deserves to be publicized.
The presentation took place Wednesday 5th December @ 2.30pm Hope House, Nant Lane,Morda, Nr Oswestry, Shropshire SY10 9BX
